On the inside, the center seam that runs up the front of the inside lining is partially opened, the stitching has come undone. The part that would press against the front of your ankle. It's the leather lining, there is another outer layer of leather to the boots that isn't affected, it's the inner leather lining with the open seam on both boots. Please make sure you know what size you wear in this brand and style, there aren't returns if they don't fit. Condition is shown in the photos.
