Description: This is a set of Heavy Duty motorcycle rear shock absorbers. We have been selling and installing these shocks in our service department for over 30 years. They have an all chrome finish. They have a free length of 12 inches from eye to eye which is .25 (1/4) inch longer than the original stock shocks. The 1/4" longer length is insignificant and will have no impact on ride or handling. The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions. The spring adjuster tool is included. The proper metal bushings are preinstalled for ease of installation. The green wire ties that you see in the photos are there to secure the bushings and prevent them from being lost. PRICE INCLUDES BOTH SHOCKS.THE ORIGINAL SHOCKS ON 1984-1987 MODELS HAVE RUBBER GROMMETS IN THE TOP EYELETS WHICH EVENTUALLY CRACK AND SPLIT. THIS SET OF HEAVY DUTY SHOCKS HAVE METAL BUSHINGS IN ALL EYELETS. Below is a list of models that these shocks will fit. 1984-1985 YAMAHA XV1000 VIRAGO 1986-1999 YAMAHA XV1100 VIRAGO THESE ARE THE ONLY MODELS THAT THESE SHOCKS WILL FIT.
