This is a reproduction of the the original speedometer trip knob boot or grommet used between the early 1960's and 1971 on vintage Yamaha Enduro models AT-1, CT-1, DT1, RT1, LT HT JT GT. These may have been used on other models. They were used on Nippon Sieki speedometers. Nippon Sieki supplied instruments to all the major Japanese manufacturer. For the most part, they are the same design. The boot is very high quality SOFT rubber. These are NOT polyurethane crap. They install easily. This grommet is essential for a quality restoration and will protect your speedometer from water intrusion. We also restore instruments, provide glass, chrome plate, remove "most" dents, repair odometers, manufacture gauge face replacement decals and odometer wheel decals. We have also repaired and remanufactured 1968 DT1 trip knobs and shafts. As far as we know, no one else on the planet does that. When I drop it off at the post office, the risk is yours from then on.
