Description: CUSTOM Hand Dyed Jedi CLOAK ONLY This is a Jedi cloak/robe I made for a custom cosplay, and it's been worn about twice. It is a loose, oversized robe that hangs loosely like a monk's robe. It has no closure, and you can wear the oversized hood up or down. It is modeled here on a man 6'3" who wears a 2XL Tall, but might be slightly short on him. This robe is made from a loosely woven textured cotton, which I hand dyed brown. I made this at his request because he found the heavy robe too hot, so this robe is light weight. The sleeves have the recommended 4" hem so that they hang beautifully, however I had to piece the back bottom hem of the robe to make it long enough. I chose to do this by leaving the seams visible and letting them fray decoratively. After all, someone who spent the last 40 years in the desert shouldn't look too presentable. As you wear and wash this, the dye will fade unevenly, giving it a wonderfully weathered look. It is hard to make brown cotton look good in photos, but in person the character and quality of the cloth is clear to see. The cloak is wrinkled from storage, but clean.
