Description: This is the X- THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES original (1sh) 1963 movie poster. It was used by American International to promote this movie when it was released in 1963. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Ray Milland, Diana Van der Vlis, Harold J. Stone, John Hoyt, Don Rickles, Morris Ankrum, Kathryn Hart, Jonathan Haze, Vicki Lee, and John Dierkes. It was directed by Roger Corman. This unrestored movie poster is Folded and measures 41" x 79", called a Three Sheet, which is substantially larger that the routine size of an original one sheet poster measuring 27" x 41". Most original movie posters pre-1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or defect. This poster comes in two sections, which match up perfectly. This original movie poster is graded C8.5, Very Fine to Near Mint. Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc. It is difficult to find any pre-1985 original movie posters graded C10 (Mint). This original movie poster is immediately ready for framing and display. Once the poster is laid flat and properly framed, this will diminish, or eliminate, the minor aforementioned flaws of some additional creasing at some cross folds and separation at 2 of the 15 cross folds. The separation can be resolved upon framing since the paper and color remains at those 2 cross folds. Once framed this poster will make a dramatic and superb display. Although no restoration of any kind is needed with this poster, if you are interested in X- THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES, linen backing of the poster could facilitate framing and it would also permanently attach the two sections into one.
