Description: Here is a World War Two (WWII) vintage rating or rank badge for a United States Navy Aviation Pilot Second Class Petty Officer. USN AP1, has a fully embroidered black eagle and specialty mark with sewn-on, black chevrons on white cotton material. The reverse is undated and it has black, straight wings. This insignia is still in its original glassine bag. There is some minor discoloration due to age. Excellent used condition, see photos. Navy Enlisted Pilot NAP1c or AP1c.
