Description: This is an original WW 2 Cockpit A-8A oxygen regulator as used in the famous P-40 Warhawk. This regulator is in good condition. This regulator is dated 1943. It is designed to be used with the A-8B oxygen mask.The gauge assembly fits in a 2 1/4 inch diameter hole. The P-40 is famous for the Flying Tigers flying in China at the beginning of WW 2 .Today the P-40 is slowly making a comeback as several aircraft have been restored to flying condition and several more projects are in the works.This regulator would have also been used in the early B-17, B-24 and several other aircraft. This item is being sold as a collectable only. Payment should be received within 10 days of auction closing unless prior arrangements have been made. Buyer to pay actual shipping.
