Description: WW2 German Helmet Liner Description WW2 German Helmet Liner These reproduction helmet liners have a leather lining with a drawstring which allows for some adjustment for head shape. The outer metal band has the correct date and size stamps. The liner also comes complete with a leather chin strap. These are the liners we use in our German WW2 'Stahlhelm' helmets and are available in the according sizes. Please note that German helmet shells will require a specific liner which will be compatible to the shell size. To find your shell size search for a stamp inside that says "ET.." i.e. "ET68" (for a 68cm shell). Alternatively you can measure around the outside of the shell (going over the rivets). Here is a chart which shows which liners are compatible with which shell sizes: Shell Size / Liner Size 60 cm / 52-53 cm 62 cm / 54-55 cm 64 cm / 56-57 cm 66 cm / 58-59 cm 68 cm / 60-61 cm 70 cm / 62-63 cm Please note: There is a degree of variation in the colour of the fabric layer between the leather and metal, which ranges from bottle green to light tan.
