Description: A nice pair of ex-stores condition British Army Nursing Corps Long-Buttoned Mosquito Gaiters/Spats as issued to female military personnel serving with the Allied Forces' Medical Units & Operating Theatres in the Far Eastern Campaign in Burma. Judging by the additional stampings of U.S. this pair of women's-sized No.3 Gaiters by John Wear & Co (complete with War Dept Arrow & date of 1944) could have quite possibly been destined for US Army Nursing issue. Offered here as-found & untouched they are, apart from some small surface staining, in smashing condition. A lovely item from the WW-II Women's Army clothing inventory..! Thanks for looking..! (Please note that all of our items of WW-I & WW-II Allied & German militaria are also offered via our various South Coast antique emporium outletsand directly via our A.V.C. mail-order business here in Hampshire, so may disappear from view on eBay without prior notice, if sold through those myriad outlets!)
