Description: An original WW2 BATTLE of BRITAIN dated "SEARCHLIGHT BATTERY TRAINING PROGRAMME" issued by the Commanding Officer of 304th Battery, Royal Artillery based at LEIGHTON BUZZARD. Consists of a covering letter, a five page summary of the training programme and two large timetable sheets. A further typed letter is attached to the rear regarding the procedures for completing record sheets. All of the above has been issued on official watermarked 'King's Crown' logo Stationery Office paper. A great Battle of Britain document, and a fascinating insight into the level of training required for service with a searchlight battery under hostile attack.
