Here we have a beautiful hand crafted pottery round COVERED CASSEROLE made by WINFIELD CHINA of Pasadena/Santa Monica California in the "Passion Flower" pattern displaying the tan leaves (front and back) on a cream background, brown accents on lid knob. It measures approx. 9" long (from handle to handle) x 6-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" side high x 5-3/4" in total height with the lid, can hold up to 48 ounces (or 6 cups.) It is in good maintained (used) condition with no chips, cracks or crazing...appearing to have had less than normal use. It has been lightly cleaned since acquired (not thoroughly cleaned however) and is being offered in "as found" condition currently showing a few minor exterior scuff/rub marks here and there...a re-clean then good to go. The bottom is faintly marked, "HANDCRAFT ~ Winfield China ~ CALIFORNIA" in blue. Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, production run 1929-1962. This item weighs approx. 2-1/2 lbs., add 2-1/2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
