This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! I would call this a monster mitt and I would also say that this is one of the best catchers mitts that I own ! If I were catching today I would use this mitt ! This particular mitt was made in Japan, so it is made of a very high quality Pro Grade ! The mitt has been used and it is broken in and it is totally game ready ! This mitt is very large, very thick, it is very heavy ( as it weighs 1 pound and 14 ounces, and it is very well padded ! The leather is very soft and it has a great feel to it ! The mitt is without a doubt a PRO mitt ! You can catch anything with this glove ! The mitt also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! Once the ball enters this mitt it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove totally swallows up a baseball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a baseball in the pocket ! The 7th photo shows how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball ( that’s if you decided that you wanted to use this glove for softball ) ! As far as fitting goes, this glove is a little tight in the finger stalls and it is a little loose around the wrist ! The glove does NOT have a Velcro wrist strap ( but who needs it with this monster ) ! The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls !
