This PC copy was given by Paul Suntup to Russem as an acknowledgement of his work.According to the Suntup website, the numbered edition has "a handmade lapped component case binding constructed from purple and black Japanese cloth covers and purple folded single folio endsheets. It features foil stamped titling at the spine, a white Plike paper collar, flush mounted and wrapped at the head of the book, and is housed in a cigar-style enclosure covered in Japanese cloth. The edition is printed letterpress on Mohawk Superfine and is signed by William Friedkin and Marc Potts. Each copy of this edition is sewn and bound by hand." Bradley Hutchinson of Digital Letterpress in Austin, Texas, printed this book and Anne Covell bound it.Michael Russem designed and printed innovative fine press books for his own Kat Ran Press for many years; he now runs a design bookstore and gallery near Cambridge, Massachusetts, and he also designs books for many publishers. Among the books he designed for Suntup Press include Blood Meridian, Slaughterhouse-Five, and The Handmaid's Tale. With seven full-page color illustrations by Tom Bagshaw. Fine. This copy has a production flaw: the knife used to trim the top edge of the page block had a nick in the blade that created a small uneven area near the spine.
