Description: Up for grabs is pair of vintage hardback books, both on the history of Wichita, Ks. covering mainly the early years of the city.. The first book titled "Wichita Century" is a 1969 copyright 272 page book, packed full of information & great old black and white vintage photos as well as sections with more recent history, and color photos.. Measures 9.25" x 11.25" and does not have any writing or prior owners signatures anywhere that I could find.. I've had many of these various city history books, and this is by far one of the best I've seen, both in text and photos.. Book does have a few light scuffs on it's front and back covers, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.. The second book titled "Wichita Memories" is a 144 page book put out by the Wichita Eagle in 2019.. Just as the title would suggest, this book is packed with old black n white photos, with every photo having a paragraph giving information on what the photo is about.. Book is in excellent condition, both inside and out and did have a $44.95 price tag when new.. Both of these books are in good clean condition with no prior owners writing in them and they do come from a smoke free home (no odor).. Books will be shipped USPS Media Mail with tracking..
