Description: These are Xerox copies that were copied by White House Staffer Virginia Olson. She worked in the East Wing of the White when Nixon came into office. She stayed thru the Ford Presidency. I have sold a number of items from this Estate, and the Provenance is without question. ( I have a number of other items selling from this Estate right now, so make sure you take a look) Everyone at the time heard Nixon read the speech from the Oval Office the night of August 8th 1974, but very few heard the words he spoke to members of the cabinet and White House Staff at 9.35 the next morning in the East Room. Mrs. Olson made copies of these speeches on the mornings of each, and made them part of her personal collection. This is ephemera you don't just find anywhere. * Xerox's only the stationary is just to prove Provenience. .
