As we prepared for the birth of our granddaughter, those thoughts inspired this soft little poem. Jay Wright started writing and illustrating stories for his niece and nephew five years ago. His recent book, Whisper My Name, was written in anticipation for his granddaughter, born in the Spring of 2016. He lives, plays, and daydreams in Bend, Oregon.
