DESCRIPTION Antique pre-owned circa 1920 W. H. Saart Co. sterling silver 925 art deco coin compact dance purse. Coin purse is rectangular shaped and measures approximately 3 1/2" long x 2 5/8" wide. The front side has a ribbon & pin-stripe design engraved 1920. The backside is high polished & monogrammed FEO. There are dings/dents, surface scratches and patina present. Inside there is a spring clip on one side with the WHSCo maker’s mark over a circular pattern gilting. On the other side is a hinged mirror compartment and a double coin spring loaded compartment. Tiny chip in corner of mirror. Hallmarked sterling. Push button closure on the outside is tight & secure. Oval open link wrist chain has a drop length of 6".
