Quality movement by MS with great sounding tubular bell chime. Plays full 4/4 melody (plays every 15 minutes) plus counts the hour on the hour OR may be set to just play the melody and count the hour on the hour (no quarter hour chime). Night time shut off. Very simple operation. Volume control. Comes with a 16" metal pendulum rod that can be broken off in 1" increments down to about 4". 2 3/4" diameter brass finish pendulum bob included. Comes with mounting hardware and instructions. Movement measures 4 5/8" wide x 4 3/8" overall height (the bottom of the pendulum hanger extends an additional 13/16" below the movement). Overall thickness is 1 5/16" not including the post. Overall length of the mounting post is 11/16", with 3/8" threaded post length for dials up to 5/16" thick. Post diameter is 5/16". Speaker measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 7/8" thick. MOVEMENT IS AUTOMATICALLY SUPPLIED WITH A SET OF 3 1/2" BLACK COLOR SPADE STYLE HANDS AND A SECOND HAND, UNLESS YOU REQUEST A DIFFERENT LENGTH. SERPENTINE HANDS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS: 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 5 1/2". HAND LENGTH IS DETERMINED BY MEASURING THE MINUTE HAND FROM THE CENTER HOLE OUT TO THE TIP.
