Composite simply means that the wood has been dyed and gone through a cutting process to make each sheet consistent. It is made of real wood. Nothing to be afraid of and very popular. *Cut from 108" long strips (shown), so you can buy multiple pieces that would be continuous up to 108" (9 feet). *Some photos taken with clear semi gloss polyurethane or water to show color and grain more accurately and mimic the potential appearance of a finished product.
