This auction is for a nice copy of the Eerie Publications magazine Weird volume 4 issue number 4, from August of 1970. Overall grade of Very Fine Minus. I urge you to examine the photo-scans to form your own opinion. I hesitate to assign grades, but I know it is helpful to the buyer. My assignment of a grade to these comics might not agree with yours, but I have taken the time to detail what is wrong with them, so you will know what you are buying. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged and boarded, but you will most likely want to put a new bag and board on them, the one it is in now is for protection, not looks. GRADE/CONDITION: Front Cover: This book has about four tiny stress lines that exhibit minimal ink loss. There is some exceedingly minor overall wear including minor wear to the extreme tips of both right corners. There is an impact ding in the top right corner with some 3/4" of crumple. There is a very minor ding in bottom left corner with 1/4" of crumple. Back Cover: There is some very minor overall wear with a duplication of the impact dings. Interior Pages: Pages are white to off-white. Pages are nice and pliable. There is no brittleness. there are some scattered spots of distributor`s ink along page edges. Overstreet #54 sets a value for this magazine in 7.5 Very Fine Minus at about $33.00, so along with the free shipping, this one is... Priced to sell!
