Description: This auction is for a nice copy of the Eerie Publications magazine Weird volume 3 issue number 1, from January of 1968. Overall grade of Fine Plus. I urge you to examine the photo-scans to form your own opinion. I hesitate to assign grades, but I know it is helpful to the buyer. My assignment of a grade to these comics might not agree with yours, but I have taken the time to detail what is wrong with them, so you will know what you are buying. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged and boarded, but you will most likely want to put a new bag and board on them, the one it is in now is for protection, not looks. GRADE/CONDITION: Front Cover: This book has about nine minor stress lines that exhibit some ink loss. The cover is poorly alligned to book(see bottom edge photo). Minor soiling left side of tombstone. There is some exceedingly minor overall wear including minor wear to the extreme tips of both left corners. There is a 1/8" crease in top right corner. There is a 1/4" edge CHIP about an inch down from top of the right edge of the front cover. Back Cover: There is some very minor overall wear, including minor ink loss wear and a 1/8" CHIP in left edge. Interior Pages: Pages are cream to off-white. Pages are nice and pliable. There is no brittleness. Overstreet #53 sets a value for this magazine in 6.5 Fine Plus at about $23.00, so along with the free shipping, this one is... Priced to sell!
