Description: Wedgwood 1973 Christmas Plate Tower of London Pale Blue & White Jasperware w/Box Offered with its original box, the preowned 8" pale blue jasperware plate with the Tower of London and swans in white relief and holly encircling the plate rim is in excellent "like new/very good" condition. The back stamp is incised with the maker's mark is evident but not fully visible. The initials, partially visible, appear to be J and W. The plate has been stored in its original box in tissue paper, brought annually for display during the holidays. The box shows overall general wear and has a crack mid-way along one side of the box lid. Also, the typical protective foam is missing as is any printed pamphlet describing the history about the limited annual series and process. The original box is condition is "acceptable " because of a specific break in the side of the cover and shelf wear soiling on box base. Please study the photos provided to see details described.
