Description: This is a 2 map set of The Village of Wainscott, Suffolk County, New York in 1873. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, this map is 11"x17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat. The village of Wainscott is actually a corner section on this map which covers the entire East Hampton town area. There is also an inset map which contains the village area of East Hampton. The pictures provided may show only a portion of the actual maps. Please contact me with any questions! It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture, however it is indeed crystal clear on the actual map! Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Osborne, Hopping, Conklin, Talmage, Miller, Strong, King and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!
