Unsure if there's any value to it. You will notice in the pictures that the back has a paper sheet glued? To it. I did not attempt to remove it. I'm classifying the frame as wood simply by looking around the back of the frame (where there is no paper). This looks like wood to me. Frame is brushed with a bronze paint finish.
