Description: I would love to know what exactly this was used for. Found at an estate sale a while back. This is a round wood jar with lid. Trimmed in chrome with tiny nails - a couple are missing. Wood is in panels and a couple of the seems have separated a little. The lid has a tiny nick. Inside is ceramic and does have a small chip and crack. See photos for all. It is still a stunning display piece. Could have been a humidor? Or a spice jar? Please message me if you know. 5 1/2” tall x 5” diameter. Has great MCM look to it. It’s not marked.
