Description: SOME PIECES REPAIRED.This set appears to have been Hand Made. I am 100% certain that 2 of the Light Colored pieces were Super Glued together, and more may have been as well. HAND MADE, HAND CARVED 100% STONE ( MARBLE / QUARTZ ?) BLACK & WHITE w/ AMBER, VINTAGE, 13.75" x 13.75" CHESS BOARD AND PIECES - NO BRAND - Item Description & Noted Condition ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This is aUSED, VINTAGE ITEMinGREAT CONDITIONwith NO PACKAGING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Board does not appear scratched Board is about 13.75" x 13.75" Queen stands at 2.5" Board has plain, brown, corrugated cardboard glued to the bottomto prevent it from scratching table surfaces Some of the Black and White Pieces have VERY MINOR 'Chips' or 'Carving Flaws' at the bases*The part that comes in contact with the board Some of the 'Amber' (Light Color) Pieces have the same MINOR 'Chips' or 'Carving Flaws' at the bases*The part that comes in contact with the board At least TWO (2) of the Amber pieces were broken and Super Glued together.*The repairs are clean enough that I find it important to point them out,because I think a buyer may not be able to see them. On one of the Knights (The Horse Piece) for the light colored pieces,one of the ears is either very short, or was chipped off.*It is not 'rougher' than any of the other ears, but it is shorter.
