Vtg Handmade Quilt Top Queen Bedspread 1970s Polyester 94" Trip Around the World

Description: Buyer will receive, as pictured, a Vintage Quilt Top/Bedspread measuring about 94" x 94". The piece is hand sewn, made in the 1970's, with the popular 70's polyester fabrics. This looks like a quilt but was made to be a bedspread with no bottom layer or batting in between. Buyer could add that if interested in doing so and make it a traditional quilt. However, it is really nice as is and makes a nice, lightweight blanket or cover. It is made of a large variety of 2.5 inch squares of fabric in nice, vibrant colors. The edges are unfinished purposely because the fabric is non-fraying. The blanket is in excellent condition. I found a few very small, minor snags (picture #17), and two brown dots/stains (last picture). These flaws are very inconsequential to the overall look and do not distract at all. I did not notice any significant fraying or any holes or tears. It is an impressive piece of work and a neat find. If you like 1970's style, this is great, but it is also great just to add color and interest to any room. Pictures were taken on a queen, extra thick mattress. Please see pictures.
