Underneath may have had some epoxy fill to patch any cracks/chips. ...or it is original like that(not sure) see pics for complete description on the board. The pieces are unbroken. They do have some "flea bites" throughout due to Use and storage.There is also damage to 2 of the knight pieces as pictured one one is missing a ear and the the white knight looks like its head broke off and was glued back on but looks good .
