Description: Vintage. These are marked with numbers in the top right corner - #1 & #13 of the series done. The engraved script on the prints reads “A Law Macaroni; Pub by MDarby Strand Feb 16th, 1772 accord to act.” & “The Farmer Macaroni; F’en (then) Farmers drefs (dress) and mount their ponies and all alike, are Marcaronies; Pub, according to Act July 24th, 1772 by MDarly @39 Strand.” Sticker on back reads “Custom framed by J.J. Kormann & Sons, Roanoke, VA.” Size 5 5/8 x 9 1/4. The paper on back is aged browned and has tears and writing. Frames are simple plain black wood with lots of scuffs and wear (could probably easily be repainted or remove the prints and reframe.) Their dimensions are 6.50” x 10”. Please see photos.
