Description: Very old and very unique this cute minature display features a Pipa or Mandolin shaped case holding other miniature musical instruments.A 19" version sold for $127.00 back in April. I have included a screenshot of this. Because mine is smaller and is missing the tuners and has some neck damage, I have taken that into consideration when trying to value it. This mid 20th century black laquor decorative Liuquin instrument shadow box features hand painted flowers. Interior includes miniatures such as pipa, yueh chin (moon guitar), dizi, ruan, banhu, yuequin and a guzheng instrument from what I can figure out, on a crushed red velvet lining. Please look over the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. There is some damage to the neck of the pipa this can be seen in the last two pictures. The tuners have been lost with time and are not included.
