Description: Vintage ART DECO Glass Decanter & Stopper PADEN CITY SPRING ORCHARD Etched Birds Created by Paden City Glass in 1935Elegant round design has a very large oversized solid glass stopper. Decanter bottle and stopper have deeply grooved rounded patterning on sides Decanter has a stunningly beautiful heavily etched [frosted etched] pattern in the center of the front and back sides. Identical on each side. Pattern features a Spring orchard scene of foliage, branches, and flowers, with 2 birds in the center. Decanter Size Approx. 8.75" Tall w Stopper, 7" Without stopper. Width from side to size is 6", and the depth is 2.75" Excellent vintage condition. Underside of stopper has a very small hairline inclusion line deep within the glass [not outside, it's totally intact] which is not feelable, visible only- incredibly minor as it does not affect stopper & is not visible unless searched for- see last pic.Some frosting to the glass where decanter sits inside of bottle neck, normal slight wear. This is INSIDE the neck of the decanter and on stem of decanter- NOT on the outer glass surface of decanter [which is clear and smooth glass]. No nicks chips scratches or damage to decanter or stopper. No signs of use inside decanter no stains or water marks. A heavy [weighted] and substantial piece. This is a STUNNING decanter, such a charming shape, very Art Deco!
