Description: This auction is for a hard to find Adams Chinoiserie style bowl, pattern is Singapore Bird. Background is soft aqua blue with hashed navy border & floral around edge, center of plate has garden tree with bird….. measures approximately 8” diameter. An extremely hard to find pattern, the condition is relative to age. Crazing allover, tight hairline crack at center front age discoloration spot on back, age wear to others. Please supersize the photos as this presents nicely, even in less than perfect condition. Signed on bottom. About pattern….. Singapore Bird – Blue pattern #2744 was an Adam’s Calyx Ware issue of the 1940s. Featuring an oriental design of blossoms growing from the tree and a bird. From a smoke free home.
