Description: Vintage 1982 Omega De Ville 5 Microns Gold Plate on Solid 925 Sterling Silver Quartz Gents Watch Cal 1336 A stunning rare vintage gents Omega De Ville quartz watch in working order and fitted with a new Swiss Renata watch battery. This is a very rare watch as the bracelet and watch case are not steel or solid gold but rather gold plate on 925 sterling silver, the bracelet clasp is stamped 5 Mic (gold plating thickness) 0.925 Silver. It is fitted with the highly regarded 1336 quartz calibre movement that has a recessed button to its case side that needs to be held for 5 seconds, then immediately released and pressed again to advance the seconds and minutes hand, the hour hand is adjusted by pulling out the crown in the normal way. The bracelet and case have some minor tarnishing and light wear in places, the rear caseback has some faint marks in places, the lower section of the bracelet has a very faint crease that is actually quite hard to see but I thought I should mention. The serial number accurately dates the watch production to 1982 making it a wonderful gift for someone born in that year It measures approx 32mm wide excluding the crown by 34mm from lug to lug It fits a wrist between just over 7 inches to just over 7 inches circumference, the clasp has three adjustment settings Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description Please view my other listings
