Description: Vtg 15¾" Blown Aqua Glass w/White Swirls Hollow Rolling Pin Early to Mid 1900s Click image to enlarge Description Offered for your consideration is a vintage hollow, blow mold glass rolling pin. The end break point helps to identify that the pin is hand blown. The pin is a rich pale aqua blue, with soft white swirls. Unbranded, the pin, being hollow, with an end plug, would allow for the user to fill with cool water, aiding when used for working dough. I am guessing that the pin is from the early to mid century 1900s, but can't be certain, as I am unsure of the manufacturer or origin of the pin. Overall, the pin is in very good 'as found' condition, showing some signs of use and handling, but no detected breaks, cracks or repairs. The pin measures about 15¾" long and has an approximate 3" barrel. With a weight of 1 pound 10 ounces, the pin will have a shipping weight of 3 pounds 2 ounces, as it will be double boxed for protection. A beautiful add for the collector!
