They have aged -- see cracks in front -- which to me makes them better. Not for everyone but for certain lovers of things unique. Handpainted in great colors, these pull-on cowgirl boots are nonetheless solid -- heels are good, soles have wear -- general aging but lots of life left with a look only age can truly give. With purple comfort pads inside on insoles and rubber reinforced chunky wood western-style heels.These are unisex boots as the size on them -- is a men's size 9D -- which is equivalent to a woman's 10-10.5M. Because these are vintage and "size" changes from era to era ... PLEASE compare these boot mesaurements with length and width of YOUR feet from tip of toe to end of heel and across the ball of your foot to be safe re size. Shaft-height 12.5" Width 4" Heel 2.5" Length measured against wall with tape measure underneath 12.25" The name "Amazonas" is on the rubber reinforcement of the heels.
