Description: Welcome!For your consideration: A VOIGTLANDER Prominent 35mm rangefinder camera circa 1953 with an Ultron f2/50mm lens. Synchro-Compur shutter with speeds to 1/500th of a second and flash sync. For 35mm cartridge film. Serial # B 8556. Coupled rangefinder focusing. A pleasure to hold and shoot with. This specimen is in excellent condition. Condition details: Body without dents or dings. Slight signs of age and wear to chrome surfaces in a couple spots. Leatherette and black paintwork are very nice. Film chamber is clean with only a hint of usage. Shutter winds and fires fine with slow and fast speeds sounding about right to my ear. Lens barrel without dents or dings. Chrome is bright. Glass without scratches, haze or fungus. Minor cleaning marks on front element. Aperture blades are clean and adjust well.
