Vintage/Antique 1950s Tiger Figure with Rough Texture 7.5" Long

All items receive shipping insurance regardless of choosing Priority Mail or Ground Advantage.This listing is for a vintage/antique tiger figure. It has a rough texture to it with vivid color. I have not seen another like it. I ran across it in an estate sale several years ago and no one knew anything about it. It came in an old Virginia Beach salt \water taffy box marked Christmas Ornaments. It is either porcelain or ceramic or something else, I don't know as I am no expert, but it has a vintage look to it and there were lots of antiques being sold at the time. It is heavy for its size and I almost thought it was stone, but it isn't. I would guess is is from the 1950s or earlier. It has a ring to it when you tap on it, not a dull thud. I think it is unique and that is why I purchased it. If you know more about it, please let me know as I would like to satisfy my curiosity and I would be glad to update this listing. It measures approximately 7.7" long x 3.5" tall x 1.5" wide. There are no visible cracks or chips and no signs of excessive wear or abuse.
