Description: Offered for sale is this vintage WWII American Campaign medal and service ribbon. The medal was intended to recognize those military members who had performed military service in the American Theater of Operations during World War II. The American Campaign Medal was established per Executive Order 9265 on 6 November 1942, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and announced in War Department Bulletin 56, 1942. This medal was last awarded March 2, 1946. This medal and ribbon is in excellent condition for its age. The colors are somewhat faded on the medal but the ribbon is very vibrant. The medal uses a straight pin and clasp while the ribbon uses straight pins with push on clasps. One of the push on clasps is missing. This is a nice piece of military history to add to your collection. Free shipping.
