Description: Estate obtained is this WALTHAM 65 Centennial wristwatch. Its Yellow Gold filled case measures 36.5mm in diameter and 38mm when measured with the crown. It has Incabloc movement shock isolation making it’s origin circa the late 1950’s/early 1960’s. The crown appears to be replaced. It has its original cyclops Crystal magnifying the date window. The watch shows wear that it is commensurate with its age and usage. It has some light scratches on the crystal and on the high points of some of the lugs visible when viewed under magnification. Viewed on one’s wrist it’s beautiful. It is fitted with a NOS (new old stock) tight period correct expansion band. This automatic Swiss made movement Waltham gem keeps excellent time. It was one of the better wristwatch offerings from Waltham at the time. The new owner should love this watch!
