Description: I purchased this from retired Ky state police trooper who told me he was member of DEA strike force 1980 who laid out in marijuana patches to arrest people who came into patch to care for crop. He said DEA required them to wear department uniform. He told me that the troopers he worked with dyed the glow in the dark patches green and sewed them back on uniform. This is an official vintage patch that was dyed (altered) green and reapplied to uniform in late 1970’s early 1980’s. This was sold to me as used and sewed back on ? The Virginia patches all show no evidence being sewn on. Look at the photo before you purchase. This is what you get.
