Description: Vintage Turquoise Heishi Necklace Jacla Style Two Strand Kewa Native American This is a stunning two-strand turquoise heishi bead necklace designed in a very traditional Pueblo jacla style. The varying shades of blues and greens among the beads is simply striking. The white "corn" section is made from shaped shell (likely clam shell). The necklace is completed with a short handmade sterling silver chain section with cones. (The chain is fairly modern added later.) The beads are strung on string. From tip to tip, the necklace is about 18 1/4" long. The heishi beads taper from 3/8" to 1/8" wide. The corn beads are about 9/16 wide. The handmade chain section is 3" on each side, plus 1" cones. It weighs 82 g. The design and workmanship is very traditional Kewa (Santo Domingo), Native American. Touch of Turquoise invites you to Wear the West! Domestic USPS shipping with insurance is included.
