Description: for sale one of a number of vintage blacksmith and silversmithing hammers and equipment i will be selling over the next few weeks . this particular hammer is a fabulous vintage double face silversmith blacksmith tinsmiths coppersmith rounding hammer in fabulous fully useable condition one face will require a re-opolish . The handle is likely to be ash and has no splits or other damage and is held firmly in place with a traditional wood wedge. these originally came from a silversmithes producing large hollow ware items and as can be seen one hammer face was protected to an extreme !No makers mark measures approx 28cm long the head ia 9cm wide with the work faces being 4.5cm in diameter weighs 763g fabulous useful size hammer forsilversmithing or tinsmithing !
