Description: This beautiful old painting came from an estate sale and I think it is Tibetan. It is about 34 inches by 23 inches. It is on canvas and has a very flat quality to the paint, no shine at all, like tempera. The canvas has a sort of fine sand papery feeling to it, probably to make the paint adhere to it better. Very good detail and amazing color. I wish I knew more about it. The edges have pin holes in it and dabs of paint like the artist was testing out his colors. It needs to be framed to display it properly.
