Description: 1961 Sales flyer advertising the SPERTI line of SUN LAMPS. Probably not very safe to use if viewing from todays standards and increased knowledge... They used the "safe and sure" SpertiLITE bulb..."like the SUN'S RAYS"...(when used according to instructions...) Models shown and described include: SUN VALLEY; RIVIERA; PALM SPRINGS; MIAMI. The flyer page says: This quote is from a paragraph on Sun Lamps in Medical Physics, Vol. II, pg. 714:"The Council (on Physical Medicine of A.M.A.) requires evidence that the ultraviolet energy is in the spectrum bounded by the lines 2800 and 3200 Angstrom in wavelength at an intensity adequate and safe for use by laymen." The SpertiLITE conforms to these specifications. Flyer page is in overall good condition, but does have some minor wrinkling on upper right hand side. Otherwise good. Page measures 8 1/2" x 11". I'll place the page inside a plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for protection while mailing by USPS First Class in a bubble envelope.
