Modern automated postal handling machines are not kind to fine antiques and collectables, and despite our best efforts at diligent packaging we have had items destroyed, and a few have simply vanished. For this reason we will not ship any item with a value greater than $25 without adding insurance. As Ebay has no way to do this, the insurance is added as a handling fee. Large heavy items we ship UPS ground. As we live 15 minutes from the nearest UPS store please be patient with us when purchasing a large, heavy item.
