Description: This was in my grandfathers stuff. It did not fit his service revolvers so I am letting it go. Please look at ALL the pictures as they are part if the description!!! This is beautiful and vintage. I have not put any wood cleaner or polish on it...that will be up to the new owner. Please look at the markings. I see a 9 81 and a 326 hand written is a N66 or a 99N and also a 99 or a 66. Your guess is as good as mine! The hinge pins are there but looks like they could use tightening. There is a little discoloration mark on one of the hinges that you can see in the photo. I do not think this was flocked....maybe the floor of that little cubby...but not the whole thing. If so it all came off very nicely! The right front corner has a itsy wear mark as shown in photo...also the right bottom corner..as shown in the other photo. I also show a mark on the top about 3 inches from the dark grain spot....I don't know if that's just dirt or something else....I think its dirt but am not going to mess with it...again. New owner can clean it. I am NOT 100% on this being mahogany...I just noticed that it seems to be the consensus with the other auctions.
