Description: Based on online research, I believe this parka to be from the 1970s-1980s. It is unique in that it has 7 patches related to the Appalachian Trail. The main Appalachian Trail patch with the boots is selling for $24 on its own on some web sites. Other patches are selling for approx. $8.00. Measurements as seen in the photos: pit to pit across chest = 22.5"; length from neck seam to bottom of parka = 30-31"; sleeve length from armpit to end of cuff = 21-22". This was the best waterproof fabric design (cotton/nylon woven tightly) prior to Goretex. There are a couple of faint stains that do not detract from the garment.
