Vintage SEALED Topper Toys Corp Dawn Doll 1969 1st Edition NEW NRFB

Description: You're bidding a 1st edition vintage Dawn fashion doll from the Dawn doll franchise. Introduced in the late 60’s, Dawn was a fashion talent agent, and loved to party with her models and the hipster boys. They overtook Barbie at the time due to their small 6" size, low price and cool fashions. Box indicates copyright 1969 by Topper Corporation, Elizabeth NJ. Note! There is slight damage to the plastic on the top panel and some slight green on her left knee (see photo). This is an otherwise very good example - still in original doll and packaging. She has never been removed or played with. Her knees are jointed for walking and maximum posing, her long straight hair is blond and parted in the middle. She wears a one-piece minidress with a blue halter top pleated chiffon skirt, gold belt, white panties and blue pumps. This is new old stock. Doll is factory sealed in the original package which does show some slight signs of its age. The box is slightly dented in at the sides and there is a small hole in the plastic, but the contents has never been removed or played with. I am not a dealer, these are part of a childhood collection that has been in storage for 40+ years. I had to downsize and can no longer afford to store them. Please look at all photos and enlarge.
