Description: For sale is a vintage Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque apparition cross keepsake. The front of the cross has an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the cross is made of what looks like tiny slices of wood. The words on the tiny piece of paper translate from French to "of the Hazelnut Tree of Apparition". The wood on the front may be from the tree that was in the garden where she had her apparitions of Jesus. The little oval piece of paper on the back of this cross has the Monastery she joined called "Monastery of Visitation Sisters In Paray-Le-Monial" in Central France. The cross measures approx. 1 3/4" wide by 3" tall and is small in size. This item is vintage and has a lot of age and wear. This object is delicate should be handled very gently.
