Description: Rockwell R6500 Advanced Interactive Microcomputer For sale- a Rockwell R6500 Advanced Interactive Microcomputer masquerading as an AG Associates Heatpulse 410 Controller as pictured. Somewhere along the line someone developed software to control the Heatpulse units from a PC, and at that point the dedicated controllers were cast aside. Let me state for the record that the only indication of power is when you flip the power switch on and then back off again. At that point the printer advances just a bit. The display does NOT come on. The power supply appears to work as I measure 5 volts and 24 volts at the board and those are the only two voltages it is supposed to provide. There was an expansion board mounted underneath the main board; I removed that hoping to find some markings but was disappointed in that regard, possibly because one side of the board is covered in foam. I am not going to put the expansion board back in place, it’s very difficult to get to and maybe you won’t even want it installed. I don’t know if it is maybe a proprietary AG board or just something like extra memory or processing capability. Good physical condition as I think you can see but, again, it does not power up in any visual sort of way. Accordingly it is sold for parts or repair only, no returns will be accepted. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated. Any testing done will be explicitly stated in the listing and any accessory items will also be mentioned or pictured. If it isn’t pictured or mentioned you can assume it is not part of the sale.
